The Travel-Around-the-World
Honeymoon...
-
For those who have the means to do it (or have saved up
every penny since they were twelve-years-old), the experience of going
to a far-away place is a dream come true. Paris is for lovers.
Rome is for lovers who like pasta. Venice is for lovers who like
gondola rides. Germany is for lovers who enjoy beer. In fact,
there are wonderful, far away places all over the world for newly married
lovers to enjoy. Perhaps both of you have always dreamed of making
love under a tent in the Arabian desert. Well, it can be arranged.
Maybe you would absolutely die for the experience of going to the Orient
together. Why not? How about a romantic
stroll along a Mediterranean beach? It can be arranged. Visit
the travel links on this page and enjoy getting special offers on trips
to anywhere you would like to go. You can either do a package deal
or totally design your own trip. It's your honeymoon. Go for
it!

The Take-a-Cruise
Honeymoon...
-
The islands are calling. Barbados, the Bahamas,
the Hawaiian Islands, Azores--you name it and everyone knows that they
were made especially for newlyweds. The cruise is half the fun.
You'll enjoy elegant dinners, dancing the night away, wonderful entertainment,
and more activites than you would ever imagine on a luxurious ocean liner.
Stopping at ports of call makes for some fun shopping trips or simply taking
in the native surroundings. Contact one of the numerous Internet
travel sites for information on the many destinations available for honeymoon
cruises. Use them to get some good ideas regardless of whether or
not you make a purchase. Enjoy!

The Places-for-Lovers
Honeymoon...
-
Whether it's Niagara Falls, renting a condo in Ocean City,
Maryland, spending a week in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, or painting the town
red in LasVegas, Nevada; there are all kinds of special places for honeymooners
right here in the states or one of our neighboring countries. As
always, the key to having the time you really need to enjoy each other
is to plan ahead. Again, take advantage of the various Internet travel
sites to search out these places and any others that catch your interest.
There are resorts, hotels, and clubs that cater especially the romantic
at heart. Have fun planning your honeymoon and have a wonderful time! |

The Go-Visit-Somewhere-Near
Honeymoon...
-
| Sometimes the best places to go to are right
in your own backyard which are not very far away. Major cities offer
all kinds of wonderful hotels, restaurants, clubs, motels, and various
kinds of attractions. Is there an art museum or a live theatrical
presentation you've always wanted to see? |
|
How about reserving a suite in a tall building looking out over
the city skyline? Is the Grand Canyon, Smokey Mountains, Yellowstone
National Park, Oceans, Great Lakes, or any of the many beautiful places
our country has to offer near you? An automobile trip to some place
for a few days away can be a lot of fun. Why? Because it is your
honeymoon and you are together--and happily in
love for the rest of your life.

The Stay-Near-Home-But-Alone-Together
Honeymoon...
-
If either your budget doesn't allow or other more practical
reasons prohibit you from traveling, why not enjoy a romantic honeymoon
right at home? Using your apartment or house as a home-base, take
time to once again visit those places that mean so much to the both of
you; the place where you first met; where you went on dates
together; a bench in a park you sat on for hours as you shared all the
details of your lives; or the park where you love to hold
hands and walk together. You see, the wonderful thing about true
love is that it does not depend on money or having to travel the world
to share it. Enjoy being with each other, even if it means planning
a honeymoon at home.
-
The Have-To-Wait
Honeymoon...
-
Should your work situation prohibit you from having a
honeymoon, don't cancel it--postpone it. Even high powered executives
who are newly married to business owners need to eventually break away
and enjoy a real honeymoon. There are also those who are in the military,
separated by distance, and obligated to projects that make it impossible
to enjoy a week or two of vacationing following the wedding.
The point is that you go ahead and begin planning a honeymoon, anyhow.
Project a future date when you will both be able to do it. It's not
only a nice thing for newly married people to do after the ceremony, but
it is a wise thing in that it gives you time away from it all to begin
the new adjustments that are natural to beginning a marriage
together. Have fun planning your upcoming honeymoon and, whatever
you do, don't give up on the idea of a honeymoon because time, situations
and financial circumstances prohibit it for now. Later is better
than not
at all.

A Final Honeymoon
Thought...
-
Remember, the wedding honeymoon might last a couple of
weeks, but the marriage honeymoon should last for the rest of your
lives together.

The mission of this not-for-profit website is to promote clear insights
and toleration regarding the many variations of primary relationships that
exist in our world. We ask for neither acceptance or approval but
hope that each visitor who reviews the pages of this site will leave them
with a better understanding of the numerous cultural, historical, preferential,
religious, sexual, and sociological approaches to coupling that have always
existed and will continue to exist as long as there are at least two human
beings living on this planet. If the effort put into creating and
maintaining this site results in others coming to the realization that
the basic human need to love and be loved takes on many forms which are
accepted by those who practice them, whether right or wrong as determined
by the personal belief system of others, then it will have served it's
purpose well. |
