in those first breath-taking glimpses of
redheaded
beauty with gleeming green soul-filled eyes;
Deescerning
quickly that the stirrings within me were
the smiles
of a heart that had known only lonely sighs;
Deeciding
with all that was within me, I immediately knew
that before
me stood the stuff of dreams, and like the finest wine;
Deetermining
to drink her in and taste her sweetness,
I held
her hand, called her friend, and pressed her lips to mine.
